Rental Terms & Conditions - Motorbike Hire

Basic Hire Information and Terms

Bookings

All bookings must be pre-arranged and secured with a deposit prior to arrival

Payment Options

We accept payments by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Eftpos, EFT(Direct Transfer) & PayPal

We accept Visa Mastercard American Express AMEX
Is there are surcharge on American Express

We do not pass the full AMEX surcharge for card payments onto you. Only 3% is passed onto you for all normal hire costs.

Security Bond

For most rentals, the security bond is performed as a pre-authorisation against a credit / debit card whilst you are renting the bike. This requires you to have the funds available on the card, but they are not deducted. If you have a Visa or Mastercard Debit Card, this will also work provided you have the funds available.

Card and Cardholder must be present for this process.
Card must be in the name of the hirer or joint-hirer.

What do I need

Once you made a booking, you will need the following on the day of hire

  • Rider's Licence appropriate for vehicle being hired
  • Proof of address (if not on licence)
  • Credit/Debit Card with enough available funds for security bond
  • Passport (for Int'l hirers)
  • Riding gear (if you have your own)
Using Toll Roads

Paying for your tolls is easy.
Just ride through and any tolls are automatically passed to you.

We will handle all toll payments from start to finish

No E-pass, No annoying notices & No worries.

Gear Hire

If you need to, we have riding gear available for hire.
Full face & Open Face Helmets, Jackets and gloves for hire if you need them.

Who pays for Fuel?

It is the responsibility of the hirer to refuel the bike on return

Cancellation Policy

Standard
In the event of a cancellation, any deposit paid is forfeit. (We must be notified of any cancellations at least 48hrs before agreed vehicle pickup)

Full Protection
Worried about the rain? Want the benefit of re-scheduling without penalty? Then take up our full protection offer.
Reschedule your hire due to weather within 48 hours of your scheduled hire period. Any deposit paid is transferred into a credit for a future hire. This can credit can be used for a future bookng within 3 months of the original booking date.
Cost is $7.90/day (capped at 3 days) to add this benefit to your hire.

Weekend Surcharge

A $30 fee may apply for Sunday pickups and/or returns.

Insurance Cover

Our Motorbikes are covered by a comprehensive insurance policy. Requirements may vary between bikes.

  • Minimum ages apply for each hire
  • A Bond is required for each hire.
    . An amount will be charged or authorised against a credit card. This card must be in the name of the hirer and the card and card holder must be present for this transaction.
  • Only the hirer and authorised riders have insurance cover.
  • Fully licensed riders must have had their licence for a minimum of 2 consecutive years. (This may include time spent on a Learner or Provisional licence.)
    This experience requirement does not apply when the hired bike is LAMS
    • For riders under 21 years of age, some special conditions will apply.

Note: You are not covered by insurance where you are in breach of hire terms.
